What if understanding yourself deeply could change what’s possible?

Counselling for people navigating life transitions & exploring identity

Welcome,

I’m so happy you’ve found your way here.

Maybe you’re feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself, or caught in patterns you don't quite understand. You may be questioning who you are or what you want, or simply sensing that something in your life needs to change.

Something important is calling for your attention.

Therapy can be an opportunity to get curious about what's really happening in our lives, to understand ourselves and our lives more deeply — which in turn creates the space for new choices and possibilities.

Shall we begin?

What might become possible?

  • Understand who you are

Make sense of your patterns, emotions, relationships and experiences so you can understand not just what you do, but why.

    ‍ ‍

  • Come back to yourself

Reconnect with your body, your needs, your values, your creativity and the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way.

  • Live in alignment

Begin making choices that reflect what matters to you — so that your life on the outside feels connected to what's true on the inside.

  • Feel your aliveness

Make room for curiosity, possibility, pleasure, creativity and change. Find your way back to the parts of yourself that make you feel like you.

You could be here because

You’re navigating a major transition

Pregnancy, becoming a parent, navigating peri/menopause, grief or simply entering a new stage of life — times that leave you questioning who you are and what you want.

You keep finding yourself in the same patterns

You’re tired of going around in the same cycles - you want to understand what’s underneath your emotions, choices & ways of relating to others.

You’ve lost touch with your creativity, spark or sense of purpose

You want to feel more connected to the things that make you feel curious, expressive and alive.

You're finding your own way of being in the world

You want to better understand your own needs, sensitivities, strengths and ways of moving through the world, rather than constantly trying to fit someone else's idea of how things should be.

You want to go deeper

You’re looking for more than symptom management. You want to understand yourself, make meaningful changes, and create a life that feels like your own.

A little about me

I'm Cat Main, a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and I'm fascinated by the ways we become who we are — the experiences that shape us, the stories we carry, and the patterns we find ourselves in.

I'm particularly drawn to those moments when something is shifting: when the familiar doesn't quite fit anymore, when we're questioning who we are or what we want, or when we're beginning to imagine a different way of being in the world.

My background is in theatre, movement and expressive arts, and these experiences continue to shape how I work. I bring curiosity, warmth, honesty and a healthy appreciation for humour into the therapy room.

I love the depth of this work: getting curious together, making connections and discovering new possibilities. I don't believe I have the answers about who you should be or how you should live. I'm interested in creating a space where we can explore those questions together.

Let's find out if we're a good fit.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I offer a free consultation so we can meet, talk about what's bringing you here, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
